Nobody can eat 50 eggs

Carl remembered the line from "Cool Hand Luke" I was hinting at. Way to go, Carl! My inside references are perverse and often baffling (and one of you reading this is laughing at that phrase for reasons totally inside). You run once, you get chains; you run twice, you get more chains; you don't run a third time... you get your mind right.

Workin' on it, boss. The man with no eyes was watching over me.

I ran yesterday! Not the six hours at Hyland Julie did, but I got out the door.

Food

I hadn't kept track of what I ate in a long time. So many blogs connected to this one have obsessions with food that amaze me. One day's food:

2x 12 ounces of skim milk, each with 1 Tbsp. powdered chocolate
banana
1 cup blueberries
orange
4 oz. grape juice
3 dried apricots
1 cup boiled vegetables (even amounts of spinach, broccoli, mixed mushrooms, sea vegetables)
Pasta: 1/2 cup dry macaroni, 2 Tbsp. tomato paste, dried basil, 1/2 tsp. olive oil
Oatmeal (1 cup dry) w/ cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. salt
Mixed whole grains (1/2 cup total dry measure of brown rice, amaranth, quinoa, teff)
Curried dal: 1/2 cup dry red lentils, with garlic (raw), ginger, turmeric, cumin, cardamom, black pepper, cayenne pepper, horseradish, 1/2 tsp flax oil
2 ounces mixed nuts (50% almond, 30% soy nuts, 10% sunflower seeds, 10% walnut)

Total: 2000 calories, 15% from fat, 20% protein.

Then I had lunch and dinner.

That's awesome! Definitely a perverse and baffling-to-some moment!
