Seems like you're no one in running in Minnesota unless you're on a team. No one wants me, so it's time to start my own.
Alice, "The Enforcer." Started running after her lifetime ban from rugby for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Katerina, "The General." Known for rallying the troops to victory with unorthodox methods.
Nataliya, "The Franchise." Her parents got her a USATF card at age 1 and she's never looked back.
Sunniva, "The Natural." All she does is win.
Barbara, "The All-Arounder." Sprints, marathons, triathlons, adventure racing; she's mastered them all.
Camille, "The Human Encyclopedia." What she doesn't know about training isn't worth knowing.Cintia, "The Veteran." Her Athlinks page takes hours to load.
Steve, "Towel Boy." Accidentally snapped a photo of himself:

OMG Somebody PLEASE FEED the members of your team! Ice cream, cookies... something!
p.s. re: your post a few posts ago - the resemblance between Kirsten Scott Thomas and Jenny really is striking.
I was cheering for KST in 4 Weddings & a Funeral... I never understood WHY the Andie Macdowell character was attractive (other than physically) she played such a heinous person!!
Definitely get the award for creepiest old guy running blog on the web. Congrats!
Is it too late to pose a question? Here's mine: What in the name of God happened to you as a young man that caused you to be obsessed with emaciated, scowling redheads?
haha, I love this entry. I come here to read the running stuff, but maybe I now prefer the personal posts.
I actually laughed out loud at Katerina's description with the 'unorthodox methods'.
Oh, and I don't know if you realize this yet but you definitely have a type. Yeah.
I forgot to name the team! I'm thinking "Team Menthol" as there's a lot of smokers in that group.
Those red-headed gals look like they came straight out of a horror movie. Yuck!
You're not doing a good job if you're trying to recreate the Anthony Weiner pictures.
@Deb: Katerina, in one of those photos, is actually in fashion in Belarus. If you don't change your Blogger profile, I'll just assume you look like her.
@Deb: oops, wrong one. Nataliya's from Belarus. Not that it matters.
