2 Brief Comments

1) The deleted comments on Blogger have returned (but the separate film blog I started that day is still gone), but now I can't seem to comment on anyone else's blog!

2) If there's no budget bill passed in Minnesota, the government shut-down starts July 1. That means that the state parks will close. The Afton Trail Run is in Afton State Park on July 2. That could be a problem!

This is blogger. Same thing happened to me at Peachy Escargot's today, but I finally prevailed.

Then he comes screaming over to my blog when he couldn't comment. Like mine is the only one doing this!

Freaking Rebs!

It'll be interesting to see if this comment makes it through ...

Finally read your Ice Age Trail report. Wish I could say it sounded like fun, but, hmmmm. And what's with all of your illness? And what is with the fact that I've asked you that at least 100 times now? Perhaps you didn't get much out of the race, but thanks for pointing out that we need to sign up early for next year. Of course, we'll be running and hope you will also be ready to run the 50k.

Just an aside - the dissociative runner? Seems against the nature of a runner to "tune out" from what is going on in their body. I for one have not reached such a zen state. I'm just trying to think of someone who might be such a dissociative runner...

No Afton ... I think I may have to write to the MN state legislators and enumerate which government services are critical and should receive priority funding. Obviously, the state employees at Afton State Park are "critical" for insuring the safety of the ATR runners. I'll polish this up a bit, add some ambiguous legal jargon, and have it emailed to Gov. Mark Dayton - Afton is on!
