For someone who has run 100-mile races, and therefore must have the ability to defer gratification to achieve a long term goal, you sure seem, sometimes, to let relatively meaningless short-term disappointments get to you.

I have had 5 years of bad runs and look at me!
After 4 years 11 and half more months of this and you too can do a 25k at a 19:10 min/mile pace. Dare to dream, my friend.
