Another odd thing I noticed

Since the Ron Daws 25K, I have had no runs between 4 and 31 miles long! It's been just ultras and recovery. And that probably won't change soon. The question is: how long can one keep that up without losing fitness?

I wouldn't worry. Chance are you'll die at that pace before you get a chance to become unfit, brother.

I'm dyin' just reading about it.

You know, more people would comment here if your blog did ask for word verifciation words like "elyzyvgs". I'm stone cold sober (well ... mostly) and I can't spell that on the first three tries!

I think you are smart to recover just before you die... so this is a good way to assure Death is not first...

On my run today I already thought of what the shirt will look like when you finish your Upper Midwest Ultra Tour de Force. An Andy Warhol style/Lichtenstein screen print of your mug on the front and the logos of all the races on the back with total number of race miles and year.

I don't know - lets find out!

PS. My verification word is "cheatt", lets have none of that now.

Glaven, they're called "Captchas" and you only get one chance to type each one. Don't try to pull any of that cr__ on me!

And thanks Wynn, for not suggesting, like the others, that I'll actually die before finishing.
