Hiatus

It's the time of year when most running blogs hibernate until spring and I try to increase readership by taking up the slack. This year, I need a break. Every breath is labored, every step is painful, it's getting worse, I don't see it getting better and I'm tired of pretending that everything's going to be fine. Plus, I have some personal stuff I've been neglecting.

So, unless I feel like a year-end post (I surpassed last year's mileage yesterday and might yet hit 2000 miles), I'll be back when I feel like writing again.

I hope you feel like writing again, soon!
It wasn't the 8-month pregnant talk that put you over the top, was it?

Damn. Now who will entertain me? Take care, hurry back, and know that you'll be missed.

Your sense of humor is far more sophisticated than mine because the thing that had me busting a gut just last night was this, specifically the line 14 minutes in, right after Jeff sez the baby talk sexiness reached a point of diminishing returns. You have to watch the whole song before that, though.

I couldn't stop laughing at this. And I'm sure you won't find it funny in the least.

I'm in the midst of downloading all of the songs you recommended on my blog. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Ok. Still downloading. Since when have we had such a similar taste in music? Have had a lot of these on my pod- have you heard Abducted by The Cults? I love running to it. Deer Tick is sounding too much like Wilco these days. Oops. Just noticed you have Wilco on there, too. :) The Jeremy Messersmith song is great on first listen.
Long enough comment. I owe you songs...

You are missed, Steve. Hope you're doing well and will have loads of entertaining anecdotes to tell us when you return.

Hope all is well! Have a great holiday - and I will look forward to seeing you post after your break.

Okay, are you back yet?

Sounds like you need crossfit ;)

All kidding aside, hope you're okay & not hooked up to some ventilator somewhere.
