"There's only one hard and fast rule in running: sometimes you have to run one hard and fast."

I can breathe! I can run!

Friday, I ran without wheezing for the first time in weeks. Saturday, I ran what felt like fast miles, heart rate up a lot, but which turned out to be about 8.5 min./mile. Today, a loop (plus) at Afton.

The long, dark, empty spell may be over at last.

Glad to hear the lungs are better and you were able to get out for a run!

So, as a nurse (and an asthmatic) I wonder if your meds are working for you? (Or if you have anything prescription strength).

I am edging into needing to go back on a maintenance inhaler for a bit. This seems to happen to me at least once a year.

Sucks to not be able to get all the oxygen you need!

Wait. Optimistic statements ... No hint of sarcasm or irony in them that I can detect ...

What have you done with the real SteveQ?

Maybe this is the regge version of SteveQ? I say that because my word verification word is "regge", but that's probably just blogger being sarcastic.

And now you get to learn the Danish exclamation of elation: "Jubiiii!" (pronounced youbee). So happy to hear you are enjoying running again.

I like the "regge" version of Steve Q.
