Rats. I shall suffer another missed opportunity to own an ill fitting men's t-shirt that has a horizontal band strategically plac to make my ass look EXTRA wide. If only I lived in Minnesota and, you know, was actually fit enough to run Afton.
In other news, I am UBER excited to read an SQ race report, even if it is for a race I do not think he should do.
@G: Unfortunately, getting the facts wrong every single time she goes off script has no effect upon the tea partiers. She admitted she misspoke, but it's not like she MEANT to say John Wayne Gacy lived in Waterloo, she got the facts wrong.
Facts just keep getting in the way for the right wingers. They've even had to put a lock on the wikipedia entry for Paul Revere's ride, because they got tired of people "correcting" the account to match Sarah Palin's saying it was done to alert the British.
He he he. RBR. Hilarious. @ you and Steve - the women's shirt from last year fits just as poorly on a woman as the men's (though perhaps Shannon is an exception??). But I'm not complaining. There is not another shirt design like it in the world.
Steve says hi. Like in the last line of a letter (remember when people wrote letters?) between two people who both know him. Like that. Hi.
Oh, and I write about running. 35 years and nearly 600 races thus far.

Just dropping by to see if you agree with your Congresscritter Michele Bachmann's view that the greatest runner ever was Saddam Usain Bolt.
She also claimed that "when mixed with milk, Steve 'Nestle's' Quick makes for a refreshing - and nourishing! - chocolaty drink!"
But the less I learn about THAT the better ...

Please be careful.
@RBR: There ARE women's shirts at Afton, it's just a men's in the photo; I know, as I tried to put on a women's medium last year.
Although I won't be at Afton (due to a metatarsal fracture) I do hope I can cajole Greg into picking up my shirt for me.
Last year the shirts were sized just a bit small. I had to exchange my small shirt, which literally fit me like a second skin, for a large!

Typical liberal!
Stephen Colbert proved it happened just like Sarah Palin said.
"I could not have said a random string of words better."
