For Halloween, I'm Going as Brett Favre. (No. Maybe.)

I'd like to go as Brett, but I'm getting kinda old for Halloween. Still, I'd like everyone to talk endlessly about whether I'll do it or not. Maybe if people come to me personally to persuade me, with a big pile of cash, I might do it. I do have this streak going and I'd hate to break it. Then again, I have a bum ankle. Maybe I'll just start and do a short bit, say trick-or-treat next door only. Just in case, everybody bring your candy to where I'm going to be so I can take it from you (and no fun-size bars - show some respect).

Oh look. Someone dressed as a cheerleader. If you want to see what's under the costume, I'll send you a text...

Actually, I'm planning on being at the Monster Dash tomorrow, watching between Lakes Harriet and Calhoun, dressed as a prisoner in an orange jumpsuit. I may run a lap around a lake with someone to stay warm. If it's cold enough, wearing multiple layers under the costume may make me look like Kenny from South Park.

I detect an allegory of some sort at work in this post, but I can't quite put my finger on its meaning ...

Very nicely done. You have my phone number, right? I will be awaiting a text. ;)

Ah, another missed opportunity to run with SQ. If only I lived in the Arctic circle,... I mean, Minnesota.

The fact that you think you're too old for Halloween, means that Brett Favre is the perfect costume for you.

You should be Brett but only if you wear a pair of these open fly pants:

I think you should go as LADY GA-GA.

Heard a great one! Even though Brett is so broken down, he will "stick it out"

I'll look for you at the Monster Dash, but I'll be doing the short trip around the lake. Good luck with the costume.
