Did I ever tell you that at one point I thought about trying to run a marathon in a pair of high heels?

Unlike the rest of Alexander McQueen's collection, I actually like this pair of shoes. I'd use them as an objet d'art on a coffee table.

But Lisa, how else can you show people that you had years of ballet training if you don't wear these toe shoes with 10 inch heels?

And I'm thinking that with weights, they'd make nice bookends.

I will concede that point...

My achilles and knees ached just looking at them.

Still - as a 'retired' naturalist I did love the butterfly wing motif... Now if they only made them in a practical shoe that those of us with no ballet training could wear!
