A very humorous and honest account of one's first 5k race. I hope she sticks with it and finishes that triathlon.
I identify with her ability to win awards due less to skill and more to lack of competition in her age category...
I was reading through your blog and OMG! hahahaha. I'm so flattered! My first few races were a little ridiculous (I'm still not much faster!).
