Filthy 5K

Another race to consider. There's two more videos just like it.

Powerlines - with more vegetation to grab onto ;->

Lisa, I was thinking the same thing. I've never seen the Voyageur course, but there is the legend...

Looks like Psycho Wyco to me.

Kel - on a wet year the powerlines are wicked slippery clay, not so wet... the clay sticks even more. Vegetation consists of tall grass and raspberry plants. If you are a front runner ;->

The Roughrider (NMTC Fall Series) was held on the powerline section of the Voyageur trail. My first introduction to those hills included running through thunder, rain and hail while accumulating a couple pounds of red clay on my feet. And I kept going back! Even made it so far as to tackle the Half Voyageur last year.

From what I have seen/read about Psycho Wyco it does llok familiar. I would add Lester Park (NMTC Fall Series) and Magney -Snively (NMTC Srping Series) to the list of notariously muddy runs.

That is hysterical! I've done a couple of shorter trail races that have been pretty darned muddy. Those would have been fun to capture on video!
