O...I <i>never</i> know how I'm gonna do before a race. One of my faster 5ks, which I ran just a few weekends ago, was fast for no other reason than that I had to drag Ian along and he was being a pill and I knew I had to get it over with as quickly as possible or he'd make my life a living hell for the rest of the day in that manner that only a 10-year-old can achieve. I ran that race in like 24:22, which is <i>fast</i> for me.<br /><br />I'm usually happy if I'm under 26:30. The shiny rock and wildflowers are just gravy.Glaven Q.
