At this rate, I'll be reading Harry Potter soon!

Honestly, Cicero's murder trials were a long haul and I needed a break. There's a lot of philosophy texts coming.SteveQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16943650844671498074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796785757974247915.post-34268885629611805042008-09-18T07:27:00.000-05:002008-09-18T07:27:00.000-05:00Good stuff, Steve.Glad to hear that you are now fu...Good stuff, Steve.
Glad to hear that you are now fully reformed.
I had no idea there were bandits at Afton.
hmmmmm....ever wonder how the "Meat Grinder" got its name? That kind of surgery seems like a really elaborate way to try to get out of just paying the entry fee.

I have been totally oblivious to the presence of bandits, but I too would love to have watched a fully-rested Storkamp chase down a malefactor at Afton. Hopefully ending with a tackle and dogpile.

When I did the Chester Woods 5k last summer as my first running race in seven years, I was enough out of it regarding running protocol that I wore my bib on my back, and then I wondered why the girl keeping score looked increasingly alarmed as I approached the finish line.bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09489323440366141363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796785757974247915.post-75365380373153171502008-09-17T20:19:00.000-05:002008-09-17T20:19:00.000-05:00Good post, I haven't run as a bandit and I know I ...Good post, I haven't run as a bandit and I know I won't but not for noble reasons, I am to lazy to drive to the race and I just don't like running with people enough to do it.Mike W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03062210284635385360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796785757974247915.post-37879550489094985312008-09-17T17:43:00.000-05:002008-09-17T17:43:00.000-05:00I have ran as a bandit before, but did not take an...I have ran as a bandit before, but did not take any aid. I wanted to register but thought I would be out of town. Due to goofy circumstances, I did get back in town at midnight the night before and they said the race was full and I couldnot register that morning of. I drove there and had the cash, they refused to take it. So I ran it with a friend and enjoyed my day. I would do that again in an instant if it was on a public course... So I guess I am not reformed?Londellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04937126040128805154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796785757974247915.post-76710696578277211142008-09-17T12:34:00.000-05:002008-09-17T12:34:00.000-05:00I would have loved to see Storkamp chase a bandit ...I would have loved to see Storkamp chase a bandit down. Must have been fun to watch.

I am surprised it happens at all in these trail events. I don't think I ever see someone without a bib. The pacer bib makes sense (even crew makes sense for aid station crowd control).

I will commit to kicking the ass of a bandit next time I see one in a race I am in. We will bound and gag him/her, put them in the trunk of a car, and let Larry, Duke, John, and Wynn deal with them.Matthew Pattenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13007288639720357639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796785757974247915.post-38180830269386482722008-09-17T12:01:00.000-05:002008-09-17T12:01:00.000-05:00Hey, Steve.
